Backup Administrator (Commvault)

Backup Administrator - Working for the UKs leading Engineering Support Services Organisation and joining a growing team you will monitor, maintain and capacity manage, core backup and disaster recovery systems and supporting infrastructure.

Key Features

* Monitor and maintain central and remote Backup infrastructures to Operational standards

* Work collaboratively with 3rd party support organisations to maintain the backup infrastructure to recommended standards

* Capacity planning and license management

* Assist with both high level and low level DR and backup designs

* Work collaboratively with the other members of the infrastructure systems team to resolve out of hour's infrastructure issues, including Storage and virtualisation technologies.

* Perform data/system backup, restore and integrity check operations.

* Assist the team with physical infrastructure installations and DC visits

Key Skills

* Working knowledge and operational experience of Commvault

* Experienced IT professional, focused on delivering an effective and efficient backup Management capability

* Commvault Professional Certification

* VMware experience

* EMC Isilon storage experience

* Commvault certified administrator
