Java Developer | Scotland | Competitive Salary

My client is one of the leading development partners for large enterprises, requiring demanding software applications. They predominantly work with clients in the financial industry, so this opportunity offers the chance to work at the cutting-edge of the Fin-Tech movement! Technology is a key priority for my client, so they base their projects on whether they are interesting from a technical perspective, resulting in employees working on exhilarating projects! My client also invests millions into these exciting projects, in order to ensure that the team has access to all the latest emerging technologies.

This role will involve you being a hands-on Senior Java Developer, and requires you to bring your expertise to them team to focus on many aspects of the project. You will have the freedom to input ideas into projects as knowledge and experience is shared throughout the environment. You will be building scalable server-side applications, with OO design principles and design patterns.

The following skills are desirable:

* Strong knowledge of Java

* Good OO design principles

* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

* An IT related Degree or equivalent
