Security Analyst (Risk Assurance). Opportunity to join a massively profitable global algorithmic trading firm, working in fantastic riverside offices with superb views of the City and gain finance experience.

As a Security Analyst you will be a key member of a small, global team responsible for ensuring that security risk is properly managed, policies and procedures are maintained, adhered to and that assurance processes are in place. The role is an interesting mix of both operational and project based duties; daily activities could include authoring and reviewing policy procedures, developing and executing assurance compliance processes as well as overseeing the lifecycle of identified risks, ensuring that remediation is agreed, effective and timely. You'll keep an up to date understanding of security directives and standards and be able to make recommendations to the business / senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

*Good knowledge of security risk, audit and compliance methodologies

*Relevant experience in information security systems with focus on assurance and risk management

*Working knowledge of NIST, ISO, SOC-2 or other relevant standards or frameworks

*Experience with data loss prevention tools, methodologies and implementations; data and permissions management tools

*Team player, keen to work as part of and be able to influence a global team (occasional travel to the US required)
