C/C++ Developer / Contract - 6 Months / Location - Berkshire / Start - ASAP

We are looking for an experienced C/C++ Developer for a 6 month contract for a large client based in Berkshire. The successful candidate will need to have experience in design and development on Open VMS systems using C/C++. You will be responsible for detailed design and code development of project changes within the clients Infrastructure landscape.

Experience Required

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*Experienced in working in small development teams, working to deliver high quality code to tight timescales.

*Experienced in developing IT code for complex market / engineering solutions.

*Experienced in updating legacy systems

*Experience of design and development on OpenVMS systems using C/C++, DCL, FORTRAN and SQL.

*Knowledge of XML, C++ STL, Oracle, threads and DCE.

*Configuration Control and software release and deployment using CMS/MMS, Polycenter and PVCS Tracker.

*Experience of integrating, testing and debugging complex systems.

*Experience of producing and maintaining project design, test and support documentation.
