We are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Project Manager to work on site in Chorley for a global leader in IT solutions and services who are carrying out works on behalf of a multinational Aerospace and Defence organisation.
Role: Project Manager
Client: Global leader in IT solutions and services (on behalf of a multinational Aerospace and Defence organisation)
Location: Chorley
Contract length: 6 months
Contract pay rate: £375 per day
Security clearance: SC Cleared (or eligible to gain security clearance)
The role:
Project Manager with a good understanding of physical and virtual server technologies, firewalls, Active Directory/LDAP, DMZ. Familiarity with both Windows O/S and Unix.
Experienced with transition into service of infrastructure/apps projects and revision of process/procedures
Ability to develop and track MS Project schedules.
Fully skilled in MS Office
Soft skills:
Able to work independently to a Senior Client level
Experienced in working with geographical dispersed teams and against tight deadlines
