We are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Data Analyst to work on site in Warton for a global leader in IT solutions and services who are carrying out works on behalf of a multinational Aerospace and Defence organisation.

Role: Data Analyst

Client: Global leader in IT solutions and services (on behalf of a multinational Aerospace and Defence organisation)

Location: Warton

Contract length: 6 months

Contract pay rate: £420 per day

Security clearance: SC Cleared (or eligible to gain security clearance)

The role:

Data Analysis and Data Design for the Air instance of the Group Common Solutions

Capture information data flows between local (Air Sector) business systems and liaise with the appropriate custodians of those solutions (Competency Centres) to define Interface Control Documents as demanded by the ECTP Solution and Data Architecture.

Provide support to business process analysis, including the design of information, data flows, data structures, interfaces, reports and analytics.

Responsible for the definition of data priming, data migration and data cleanse activities per IT solution.

Requirements:

Able to develop records management processes and policies

Experience identifying areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes

Ability to set up and maintain automated data processes

Able to identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing

Able to produce and track key performance indicators

Able to develop and support reporting processes

Demonstrated experience in monitoring and auditing data quality

Excellent ability to liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content

Able to gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques

Experience in designing and carrying out surveys and analysing survey data

Able to manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the employer's business

Able to prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools

Experience in creation of data dashboards, graphs and visualisations

Able to provide sector and competitor benchmarking

Able to mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Computer Engineering

2+ years' Data mining experience

4+ years in a data analyst role

Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team

Strong attention to detail
