Main Purpose and Summary of the Job:
- Work as part of a collaborative team to tackle the challenges of designing and creating innovative, immersive VR Simulations for Learning and Serious Games.
- Actively participate in meetings with clients and SME's to develop ideas and design instructional methodologies that support client goals and learning objectives.
- Use AGILE and Human Centred Design methodologies to develop and refine design ideas.
- Create 'boiler plates' and storyboards for the development team.
- Contribute to the development of VR simulations and serious games in Unity.
- Work with the sales team to scope projects.
Primary Job Function:
- UX / Instructional/ Games Design.
- Storyboarding and brainstorming ideas, solving design challenges and meeting user needs.
- Working to achieve the client's learning needs while maintaining an emphasis on quality of experience for the end user.
- Testing & revisions of software created and revising design ideas where necessary.
- Project scoping and specifications.
General Duties:
- Contribute to build a collaborative environment with all disciplines, including art and Unity development.
- Technical input in meetings.
- Contributing to design ideas.
- Time Management: assisting in the planning of projects through task estimation.
- Supporting the needs of clients through the creation of materials or answering emails.
- Research into new practices and methodologies used in VR and serious games design.
- Installation & setup of demonstrations as requested.
