The post holder will be responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing support of the Trust Integration Engine (TIE) required for adoption of all Connecting for Health applications. This role involves directly supporting the Third Line and Service Desk teams in their day to day
duties. A proven ability to control and manage crisis and disaster situations, such as critical systems outages is a necessity. This highly technical role requires the incumbent to have 5 - 8 years experience developing and
integrating solutions using the industry standard tools and languages associated with message integration within a Windows Active Directory-based infrastructure.
The post will be expected to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in the many of the following
technology areas:

*? HL7 version 2.x message protocols

MAIN DUTIES
*? Maintenance and optimisation of Trust integration engine
*? Support of all existing bidirectional interfaces
*? Design, develop, test and implement web service components
*? Design, develop, test, implement new systems interfaces
*? Develop and maintain technical systems documentation including all critical data flows
*? Capacity planning and management
*? Performance, diagnostic monitoring and tuning
*? Management of service level agreements with external suppliers
*? Design and implementation of backup strategies? Contingency planning and disaster recovery
*? Interface / database configuration change management
