A Senior Front End Developer is required with experience of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular 4 and NodeJS

Essential Skills and Experience:

*Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

*Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

*Strong understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.

*Commercial experience of Angular 4.

*Understanding of NodeJS and its ecosystem.

*Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

*Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

*Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

*A high level of communication skills.

*Experience of working in an agile/scrum development environment.

*Experience of testing javascript code with Jasmine/Karma

*Good knowledge of building responsive and accessible web pages

The following are all highly desirable:

*Microservices knowledge

*Familiarity with working with cloud infrastructure (AWS)

*Previous experience of working inline with GDS principles
