Java Developer - Make a Difference to the World

As a senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for the build out of new features. You will undertake development activities in Scrum, or other Agile practices. You will also be responsible for coding, building, testing and maintenance of software systems.

As a Java Developer you will collaborate with team members to develop clean and maintainable code for Billing and reporting requirements. This will include turning functional specifications into logical, component based technical designs. It will involve working with Squad Leads and Program Managers to understand requirements and produce high quality solutions to agreed timelines. And it will involve a challenging range of operational devops and support activities which underpin the service delivery into business-critical production systems.

Required Skills for the Senior Java Developer:

Core Java

Spring Boot Framework

Java Web Services

SQL Server or similar

Experience with unit testing

Desired Skills:

Exposure to Kubernetes

Experience with Apache Kafka

Experience of Continuous Integration and Delivery
