M&E Project Manager / Data CentresAn organisation specialising in M&E building services is looking for an M&E Project Manager to work on an upcoming £28 million data centre project in Central London.The successful candidate could have the potential to manage a couple of projects within the first 6 months and must have the ability to work well under pressure. This individual will work alongside the Project Director to further build a dynamic management team that will look to go from strength to strength in the UK Data Centre market.Responsibilities '€¢This individual will have the ability to manage themselves and make decisions on a standalone basis.'€¢Client liaison is paramount in this role as you will be working with large Blue Chip clients'€¢Supply Chain Management (site level)'€¢Budget management and cost control with a track record of saving time and money.'€¢Health and Safety management'€¢Coordinating the team to meet deadlines'€¢Problem solving throughout the project'€¢Building its comprehensive work plan and managing project progress reporting.'€¢Managing material processes'€¢Provide project feedback reports to aid improvement and development Key skills and qualifications '€¢Experience working for a main contractor, client side or for a consultancy'€¢5 years' M&E management experience.'€¢3+ years' experience in Data Centre projects'€¢Time management and organisation.'€¢Strong communication skills both written and oral.'€¢Relevant tickets that are up to date.'€¢Be adaptable and flexible in work processes and systems.'€¢Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project/Power project/Primavera/Asta Power Project etc. If this role sounds of interest, please apply online to Owen Dearn at X4 Group on [email protected] or call 0207 812 7700 for more information.They are ideally looking to arrange interviews for w/c Monday 4th June with a view to start as soon as possible.
