Estimating Quantity Surveyor / Estimator / Refurbishment / Fit-Out Estimator / Cost ConsultantWest Midlands, including but not limited to Wolverhampton, Coventry, Walsall, Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield£45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) + BenefitsPERMANENTAn Estimator / Quantity Surveyor required to join an organisation specialising in Construction projects across the UK across multiple sectors. They are a successful SME looking to take on an Estimating Quantity Surveyor and work autonomously on various Refurb and Fit-Out projects across a multitude of projects around the UK whilst making sure they carry the project from initial estimate through to completion.This is a dual role and it will involve the following:- Managing multiple projects liaising with clients and project managers- Advice on the most appropriate procurement method for the project- Work as a Quantity Surveyor and Estimator- Manage tender from start to finish, including drawing up initial tenders and feasibility reports- General quantity surveying duties such as take-offs, bills of quantities whilst monitoring and reviewing procurement  - Be able to manage a small team of QS's, with the ability to liaise between the team- Arrive accurately presented, checked, on-time and within budgetMy client is ideally looking for someone with the following background:- Strong contractual knowledge, JCT, NEC, D&B and bespoke contract forms, both pre and post contract- Work experience within a small/medium sized firm or evidence of working with a variety of project values- Solid construction background with a qualification in construction, ideally MSc or RICS degree- Extensive experience with Refurb/Fit-Out projects- Ideally someone who has worked in a variety of sectors, including but not limited to Commercial, Retail and ResidentialSalary is negotiable for the right individual but they are ideally looking to pay a £45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits Interview slots are available on Wednesday 30^th May and the interview process is usually a two-stage process with the MD, followed by and a meeting with Directors.Please call Chloe Jones at the X4 Group on 0202 3887 6313 or 020 7812 7700 for more information and to apply to the position.
