Mechanical Engineer

Cambridgeshire

3 month contract (extension likely for good performance)

£25 - £30 p/h

IC Resources are working with a highly successful business to urgently find a Mechanical Engineer to join a growing team of word-class technologists developing cutting-edge technology from concept to mass production. The position will initially be for 3 months but will offer extensions pending good performance. The successful applicant will have:

* Jigs and fixtures design experience

* Experience developing detailed designs which deliver the concept into a manufacturable product

* Solid understanding of mechanical fundamentals including mechanism design, structural and dynamics analysis

* Capability to identify and resolve issues with the product through prototype, test and build cycles

* Precision engineering experience

* Some Solidworks experience

* Ability to start immediately
