Middleware Specialist (WebSphere MQ) - 6 Month Contract - Manchester/Preston

My client, a leading outsourcing and technology company are for a number of Middleware Specialists to join them in Central Manchester supporting a large Public Sector client. The roles will be at least 6 month contracts and can offer competitive daily rates. There will be some travel to a customer site in Preston required during the contract.

Required Skills:

* Candidates should have a strong background in working with WebSphere MQ or other queuing technologies.

* Experience in the discovery of middleware tools where possible and experience based consulting (top down discovery) collation of data in to central repository for migration design and planning purposes.

* Strong Experience in high-level design of Middleware based on as-is including interfacing with Applications and O/S backup systems management and monitoring tooling etc.

* Experience of migrating middleware systems and components through various techniques including implications of continued/duplicate administration

* Experience in implementing DR solutions for middleware components using a copy of production as basis

* Candidates should also be eligible and willing to undergo an SC Clearance.
