IT Business Analyst

One of our top financial services Birmingham based clients is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join their expanding team. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyse, document and propose solutions for large/complex business areas including workflow and functional specifications.

IT Business Analyst duties will include, but not limited to:

*Producing functional specifications to establish the business requirements

*Collect, understand and transmit the business requirements for the project or Request for Service (RS) and translate into functional specifications

*Act as the interface between the business, internal development teams and third parties

*Run workshops to establish business requirements

*Analyse and document business processes, documenting workflows and results of business analysis

*Manage change requests on a daily basis

*Ensure all work is planned and controlled

*Report progress to the business owner / applications development / support manager, highlighting any areas of difficulty

*Produce weekly status reports

*Understand the release management process

*Drive the business forwards for continual improvement

As the IT Business Analyst you will be required to possess:

*ISEB Foundation in Business Analysis

*Experience of Agile, Waterfall and SDLC methodologies

*End to end experience of a project lifecycle

*Proven track record of interacting directly with end users

*Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes

*Experience working within a Financial Services organisation previously

*Proven track record of gathering and agreeing requirements
