My client based in High Wycombe are looking for a Project manager on an initial 6 month contract

You will be working on a busy project of which you will be providing direction and co-ordination on the delivery of IT system implementation project from definiation phase through to systems go-live and transition into business operations.

*Overall responsibility to define, plan, manage and deliver IT system implementation projects to achieve business benefits according to agreed quality, timelines, scope and budget.

*Interact extensively with external suppliers in order to define the delivery methodology, develop project plans and monitor project delivery in accordance with the agreed timelines and budget.

*Liaise with stakeholders to understand, define, prioritise and document business requirements in order to enable the review and approval of the scope of work to be delivered by the proposed solution.

*Ensure that existing processes are understood, mapped and documented and that the design of the solution is optimised in terms of cost, availability and benefits.

*Co-ordinate the activities of a multi-skilled project implementation team in order to ensure team members complete tasks and deliverables on time and within budget and that the system delivers promised business functionality.

*Develop and manage all project governance documentation, such as the Project Charter, Project Initiation Document, Project Work plan, Communication Plan and risk mitigation strategy.

*Manage the scope of the project and ensure that scope changes are reviewed and approved following the established change management process.

*Manage system UAT with end users including co-ordination and user acceptance sign off.

*Identify issues and risks and proactively manage escalation and actions for their timely resolution.

*Facilitate meetings between the project team and business stakeholders as required to evaluate progress and manage expectations regarding the implementation efforts.

*Act as the liaison between IS&T Directorate and the wider project team to ensure that expectations and objectives are clearly understood by all parties and the status of deliverables, scope changes and issues are clearly communicated.

*Close the project down effectively in line with best practice ensuring that the solution meets the agreed requirements and that activities for transition and closure (including the capture of lessons learned) are planned and executed efficiently.

You must have experience in the delivery of CRM projects
