Technical Architect (NPPV3 / SC / CTC cleared) - London - 6 month contract

Technical Architect (NPPV3 / SC / CTC cleared) required to join a multinational information technology company based in London, working on a project for one of their public sector clients on a-6 month contract.

As a Technical Architect, you will be required to complete the infrastructure designs for the delivery of new business projects.

Working hours: 7.5 hours per normal working day.

Essential Skills

The role will require a range of skills during the lifecycle:

* Analytical skills during discovery

* Design writing skills

* Tasking / co-ordination skills of engineering resources.

* The ability to interact with the client and engineering resources - to act as the technical bridge between the two

* Must be a self-starter, with the ability to problem solve and work through the request from the client and identify the holistic solution, particularly identify where there may be impacts on other projects or services.

* You should be able to deal with ambiguity and to cope with change as the requirements unfold

* Language level 4/5, must be able to write High and Low level designs as well as communicate in a technical manner to engineers/client's TDAs, and non-technical to client.

Responsibilities:

* Capturing infrastructure requirements

* Infrastructure Design Documents covering Hosting and End User Service scope

* Progression of solutions through on Account Solution Governance

* Attending cross tower meetings

* Supporting the engineers during delivery

* Inputting to test plans and project plans

* Supporting the client to make use of their investment in the technology and platforms delivered as part of Transformation.

* Take on ownership of the problem to seek resolution.

You will be reporting into a Solution Architect (or Solution Lead), as well as being client facing, therefore need to be professional, easy to approach and the ability to explain (and write) the solution/technical details is a clear manner.

Suitable candidates must ideally hold active NPPV3/SC/CTC clearance or must be willing and eligible to undergo SC clearance checks.
