Copywriter to be based in London on an initial 3 Month contract. Experienced Copywriter required to provide website, leaflet and email copy.

Rate - £ 250 per day

Duration - 3 Months

Role Purpose/ Summary:

We are looking for a reliable individual with outstanding writing skills and an eye for creativity to support our demand generation marketing team with a copywriting project. The required output is primarily website copy (that is obviously SEO friendly), but in addition there will be a need for some email and marketing leaflet copy, so you will need to have the skills to write for multiple channels and be able to show us some of the work you have written and published.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

* Creates and/or edits engaging content for internal or external use that conforms to our style guide and best practices for the channel in question (e.g. print, online, informational or journalistic content, blog posts, social media, etc.).

* Optimising all content, including adding meta titles, meta descriptions and keyword insertion

* Makes sure all content is tailored to the target audience and drives engagement with both prospects and customers

* Works with often complex legal subject matter that may require legal expertise or conversations with key stakeholders to understand nuances

* Edits or revises content based on internal or external feedback

* Liaising with management to ensure all content meets set requirements

* Recommends solutions to quality and/or efficiency challenges

* Participates in project planning sessions with team members

* Research industry-related topics and write pieces of content that link ideas and concepts back to our product portfolio to help drive prospects down the purchase funnel

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

* Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written

* Strong organisational/project management and planning skills

* A problem solver who challenges the norm through creativity

* Ability to write clear, concise and persuasive prose

* A focus on quality and accuracy

* Ability to effectively manage multiple and conflicting priorities

Desirable Skills and Experience:

* 4-5 years experience in a marketing and/or communications role

* Experience of writing copy for the web / SEO

* Evidence of using customer feedback and market insight in messaging creation

* Experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research
