Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Ruby on Rails Developer for an initial 2 month contract on a rate of £500-£600/day (outside of IR35) based in Edinburgh.

The role:

Our client is currently looking to recruit a software developer to work on a premier service with Ruby on Rails, managing a code base with shared ownership.

Requirements:

* Ruby and Ruby on Rails framework experience.

* Database technologies both relational and NoSQL experience.

* Web server technology experience.

* Experience in all phases of software development and methodologies e.g., unit testing, production code cleanliness, reproducibility, optimisation, and documentation

* Experience in developing full-stack, rich client, API-based web applications.

Desirable Skills:

* JavaScript frameworks experience.

* CSS pre-processors and frameworks experience.

* Containerisation experience; including builds, deploys and management.
