Job Title: Systems Support Analyst
Location: South Wales, Port Talbot
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 4-6 months
Role Description:
System Support analyst required to support production environments of the systems detailed below,. Candidate must have experience across the below environments and use to working in a support environment as the role will require periods of on call support
The types of activity to be covered are:
Monitoring of systems
1st line support on any production issues related to the environments below
Triage of issues in conjunction with other infra structure and application support parties such as IBM and TCS
In depth knowledge of the following:
IBM MQSeries (Websphere) - on Windows,
AIX and OpenVMS Candle MQSeries Monitor AIX Operating System (V4.3.3, V5.2, V5.3, V6.1)
Hardware knowledge of the following:
IBM pSeries Servers IBM Tivoli Storage Manager IBM System Storage DS Storage Manager TWS - Tivoli Workload Scheduler Agent on AIX
