We require an engineer with significant experience leading projects in industrial control or mechatronics. A very good knowledge of dynamic electrical and hydraulic controls and data acquisition systems is a must.

A change in our team has opened up a role where the suitable candidate can make a large impact on a small team. We can offer the privilege to work with top engineers in a wide range of industries all around the world and would like to see a highly motivated candidate who can see complex projects through to successful completion.

The role is to develop, install and support our real-time control systems in the UK and Europe. You would also work closely with our distributors around the world. You will be a part of an innovative team punching well above their weight against large multinationals. There are worldwide travel opportunities.

Required skills:

                                                                       Control of high performance test equipment

                                                                       Some Project Management experience

                                                                       A relevant engineering degree or proven track record

Preferred skills:

                                                                       Good understanding of test machinery, both hydraulic and electric

                                                                       Electrical schematics

                                                                       Software design and architecture

Required experience:

                                                                       Testing Industry: 5 years

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000/year

Tiab are located near Banbury in North Oxfordshire; 2 minutes from J11 of M40 and easy access to M1. We originated from within R&D groups in Formula One and now work on projects ranging from aircraft turbine test rigs to tissue testing in medical applications. We specialise in many areas of transport safety (automotive, aerospace, rail), materials science and supporting test houses, research labs and universities.
