Specialties:

Petroleum E&P software, training & consulting, Pressure and Rate Transient Analysis, Production Log and Formation Test Analysis, Field Performance Analysis, Unconventional Workflow, Decline Curve Analysis, and Massive PDG Data Management.

The DevOps Engineer role:

You will be working in a very friendly, smart, small team dedicated to the global installation, support, optimisation and development of our mass data handling package KAPPA-Server and the coming new generation KAPPA-Automate. You will receive additional cross-discipline orientation training in the petroleum engineering principles of dynamic data analysis. You will need to understand why we develop what we do, not just how we do it. Service attitude and the ability to think on your feet are essential.

About you:

You have at least a Degree in computer science with specialisation in network and security. You have gained industry experience, possibly in the E&P sector, with Windows Server system management including Active Directory Security, MSMQ Service and IIS Service. You have a strong background in Network engineering including TCP/IP protocol, Firewall configuration and DHCP/DNS and process a good knowledge and understanding of databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle and Access with Basic and Advanced SQL Queries.

If you offer knowledge in programming in particular C# and JavaScript and have Virtual Machine management and Docker container experience then so much the better.

You must have fluency in English, French would be a nice to have but indefinite leave to remain in the UK essential.

We regret and apologise in advance that, due to volume, only suitable candidates will be contacted.
