Project Manager (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, SAFe) - Cambridge - 6 months

Project Manager (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, SAFe) required to join a technology company on a 6 month contract based in Cambridge.

Key responsibilities:

* Lead planning and scope definition with delivery teams, working with product owners, scrum masters and teams to plan and sequence iterations.

* Ensure appropriate resource planning occurs ahead of delivery cycle.

* Establish the delivery schedule, ensuring outcomes are defined and tracked.

* Facilitate effort estimation planning to ensure scoping and pre-work before iteration.

* Own budget cost estimation and training of resources and capital costs.

* Prepare documentation to support governance and delivery into operational support.

* Management and tracking of risks and issues, mitigating and escalating where necessary.

* Provide regular monitoring and progress reporting related to delivery.

* Provide visible leadership to delivery teams, help remove impediments.

* Vendor engagement on delivery to ensure accurate tracking and delivery on commitments.

* Point of contact for business leaders/product owners related to delivery.

* Support evaluation review (Lessons learned) to identify improvements.

* Facilitate team ceremonies to ensure team delivery is focused on value-delivery.

* Reporting delivery performance and risk and issues reporting.

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Excellent communication, both verbal and written.

* Ability to manage budget forecasting, actuals related to spend.

* Experience of software & Infrastructure delivery, typically around SAAS & PAAS solutions

* Qualification in Agile DSDM or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Prince2.

* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

* Goal-orientated and proven self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity.

* Ability to work in detail, but abstract to the macro as necessary.

* Ability to use JIRA, Confluence, MS Project and Microsoft applications.

Desirable skills:

* Experience of DevOps practices / continuous integration patterns.

* Awareness of Lean practices applied to delivery.

* Previous experience with implementing platforms/applications around property services such as VMS, BMS, Wayfinding, Digital Signage, Access Control and Parking.
