Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Surrey

30K - 40K depending on experience

As Electro-Mechanical Engineer you will work for a world leader in the International broadcast market. The company provides a wide range of specialist equipment to support all types of content production, from television and film to corporate productions and conferences.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting in the design and development of new Robotic systems

* Assisting in the provision of product training to customers and personnel

* Servicing and back-up for systems and other products for both rentals and sales

* Fault finding to component level on broadcast equipment

* Assisting in the updating of software and record keeping

* Providing technical advice to clients as required by the business

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have:

* Proven Electromechanical engineering experience

* Good knowledge of specialist servo systems

* Ability to modify existing systems to improve performance or to adapt to suit particular applications

* Familiarity with testing, maintaining and repairing systems

* The ability to design new systems for specific new jobs or functions as required

* Previous experience of CAD - mechanical design, software development and a knowledge of manufacturing processes along with previous experience of communicating confidently with all levels of an organisation would be useful.
