This IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) managing multiple clients in locations across the world, has an opening for an experienced IT Help Desk Professional to join their Service Desk team.

They need a solutions-driven professional with 3+ years' experience working in a domain environment providing rapid and client-focused technical support. You will be working in a team providing support to 1400+ Users.

You will have demonstrated capacity to identify root causes and direct users to lasting resolutions. Adept at articulating technical concepts to users of varying technical understanding. Well versed in a variety of common operating systems, applications, and hardware with a proven ability to master new tools and technologies quickly. Outstanding interpersonal strengths ideally illustrated by multiple service awards.

Areas of Expertise:

- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution with accurate call logging within our PSA

- Self-drive to obtain Root Cause Analysis when presented with new issues

- Proven Ability to re-prioritise workload to ensure SLA's are met.

- Maintaining Great Client Relations

- Mastery of End-user Support

- Knowledge of 'new application' or 'system implementation' lifecycle

- Self-drive to improve Response Times and Resolution Times

- Self-drive on learning new technology, new processes and finding more efficient ways when delivering support

- Ability to work as a team or as an individual

- Ability to work efficiently and quickly when deployed for an onsite visit.

- Ability to absorb multiple company processes and be able to recall them at will

- Flexibility to work in the evenings or on weekends during busy times or for Project work

Technical Proficiency:

Ideal certifications:

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+

Platforms:

O365, Google Apps, Windows 7 / 8/ 10, Windows Server up to 2016, Mac OS, iOS, Android, Exposure to Linux ...

Hardware:

HP / Lenovo / Toshiba desktops and notebooks, Printers / MFP's, Scanners, exposure to routers, switches & firewalls

Applications:

Backup Exec, Veeam Backup, Webroot AV, Bitdefender, McAfee EPO, Exchange Management Console, ...

lastly, strong experience with ticket logging and RMM software is a must.
