Operational Risk Manager - Controls and MI/Reporting

South Manchester / Cheshire

This is your opportunity to join a leading bank as they build out their new centralised Risk and Controls function. They are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join the team. This is a new role reporting into an experienced Senior Manager. With it being a new function there is plenty of scope for development and variety of work. The bank offer flexible working arrangements and provide good career paths for all.

For this role, they are looking for someone with a good background in Operational Risk and Controls who can work on the planning of RCSA, advising leaders in the business around outcomes, as well as taking responsibility for the analysis going into weekly and monthly reporting packs going to Exec level. For this you need to be comfortable working with information extracted by the Data and MI function, be able to recognise anomalies and be able to produce the insight from the data that adds real value.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of Risk and Control environments, Enterprise Risk Management implementation, with your focus being on reporting within a control environment including risk and control assessments and performance indicators. You will also need experience of influencing and building effective relationships with a diverse range of senior stakeholders. Within this role you will have access to senior stakeholders across the bank.
