My Glasgow based client are currently looking to add an experienced Systems Administrator to their team. This role is well suited to an experienced Microsoft focused professional who has an understanding of Linux and/or UNIX.

The role will also include automation focus, with Powershell scripting ability a must.

What will the role involve?

You will work as paert of a team of 4, focusing on systems administration alongside DBA's and and a developer. You will support a large estate and will upskill in Linux which is becoming a much stronger focus for the business.

What experience do I require?

Primarily the main skill sets are:

* Experienced in both Windows and Linux/UNIX administration

* Experience in Web Server administration including IIS and Apache Tomcat

* Powershell Scripting Experience and/or Perl/Python

* Basic RDBMS experience with SQL scripting skills
