Senior Research Engineer (Big Data)

This Senior Research Engineer vacancy is based in Munich, Germany with my client, a household name and class-leading telecoms solutions provider. What can you expect? Primary responsibilities will be in;

1 Design and develop cutting-edge Big Data technologies

2 Screen and evaluate tools, frameworks and libraries for the implementation of Big Data algorithms

3 Research and patent new innovation in the Big Data and ICT space

4 Enter in dialog with open source community and with key EU institutions

Eligible Senior Research Engineers will have a relevant PhD such as Computer Science, and experience in;

1 2+ years' experience in working with distributed systems

2 Hands-on experience in working with Hadoop-related frameworks (MR, HDFS, Flink, Spark, Storm, Kafka, HBase, Tachyon, …)
