For our banking client we are looking for a Business Analyst/ developer

Location: Basel Start date: asap Duration: 3 months (extension is possible)

Our Banking IT team seeks an experienced business analyst/developer specialising in trading and risk management systems to work in a team of 10 responsible for trading applications, financial messaging and data warehousing. The Bank uses Openlink Findur with front-to-back office straight through processing.

Skills and qualifications

* excellent skills in Java, SQL and Linux

* Good knowledge in financial instruments and methodologies, trade-related platforms and processes

* Knowledge of C/C#, data warehousing, data connectors and Oracle databases

* Very good customer service skills with at least three years' experience in a similar financial environment

* Language, English is a must, German is a plus

* University degree, preferably with IT specialisation
