Head of Civil, Structural & Architectural Engineering required by one of the UK's largest specialist nuclear support services organisation to lead, manage and direct technical specific capability and professional competencies that efficiently meet the business needs.

Location: Bristol or Manchester

Contract Type: Permanent

Main Task & Responsibilities

* Provide functional leadership, direction and guidance to circa 40+ employees across multiple sites

* Promote and maintain a common culture across all disciplines

* Maintain technical procedures, tools & techniques.

* Identify and promote discipline specific codes and standards

* Support the Chief Engineer in applying appropriate discipline governance across the organisation including; timely reporting of technical issues that can threaten business strategy performance, lead single discipline and support multi-discipline reviews as required and to support bids & business development.

* Co-ordination of resource & activities across the business to provide fit for purpose& consistently technical delivery

What you must have

* Relevant degree within Engineering function

* Membership of recognised professional institution

* demonstrable experience in both technical delivery and functional roles with recent experience at senior management level

* Leadership and change management in a multi-location environment

* Experience delivering multiple projects and designs

* Ideally Nuclear industry experience but not essential.
