Job Title: Senior VMware Engineer

Locations: London

Duration: 6 months

Rate: £370-£380 per day

Responsibilities:

The VMware engineer role involves working for a high profile, large scale client, demonstrating a breadth of experience with creating High Level and Low level designs. The other general day to day duties will be directly & technically involved in the workload of the infrastructure team.

Qualifications:

* Must be VMware certified, at VCA, VCP or VCAP level.

* Experience of Enterprise / Global projects

* 3rd Line Support & 4th Line Support

* Experience researching and implementing methods of migrating business-critical virtual applications with no business downtime

* Experience architecting active workload migration plans as well as hands-on migration experience

* Experience designing and engineering technology, in particular mission critical infrastructure in complex environments;

* Strong skills in the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues affecting service availability

* Experience in the monitoring and management of medium to large scale virtual development environments

VMWare qualifications one or more of the following:

* VMware Certified Associate (VCA)

* VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

* VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)

* VMware Certified Implementation Expert (VCIX)

* VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX)
