Junior PHP Developer North Solihull

My client based in North Solihull are looking to hire a junior developer to join their team.

A multiple award-winning distance organization that is looking to hire a motivated web developer to join their team to help develop and maintain several ecommerce sites and internal systems.

This role will suit someone who is passionate about development, and who takes pride in their work. The successful candidate should also be able to work well in a team and independently as well as be able to write clean reusable code.

To be successful in this role you should have the following experience and knowledge:

*PHP / Relational databases / JavaScript / JQuery / HTML / CSS / Linux

*Experience working in a team using BitBucket / Git

*Proficient in secure, reusable code and ideally familiar with popular frameworks

*Knowledge and good understanding of OO design patterns

And ideally have a familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Laravel, experience developing sites with Bootstrap/Foundation/similar and some knowledge of single page apps. You should also have experience of developing and consuming APIs and be familiar with PHP standards (PSR's)

Based in North Solihull this role is easily commutable from the local area, including but not limited to: Solihull, Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester, Redditch, Dorridge, Knowle, Marston Green and most locations south of Birmingham. There are also excellent local train and bus routes to the location
