DevOps Engineer | West Midlands | Competitive Salary

My client, is one of the largest consultancy firms and is going through a large Digital Transformation in various sites within the Public Sector and are looking for DevOps Engineers from all levels to join the team. You will be provided with excellent training, and be fully supported with your personal development, throughout your career here!

You will be working within the Public Sector Digital and DevOps Unit to clients that are based in the Public Sector. This fantastic opportunity will involve you removing silos between traditional functional teams, by the use of DevOps methodologies. You will be responsible for system provisioning and automation, monitoring, metrics, scalability, security and hardening. You will be delivering a smooth automation process throughout the project lifecycle by providing the knowledge, code and services whilst working alongside other engineers in the industry.

The following skills are required:

* Previous commercial experience working with migration projects, with AWS or the Cloud.

* An understanding of tools, such as; Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Chef or Puppet.

* A enthusiastic attitude and a passion for technology

* Previous experience working within an Agile environment

This position offers a competitive salary, a generous benefits package and offers the option of flexible working hours. Candidates must be flexible to travel to clients sites if it is required, in which case, expenses would be covered.
