We are currently working with a business who require a Full Stack Web Developer to join the business on a 3 month contract, to support them on a number of projects.
The projects involve building modules within the new group company intranet systems, including ensuring layout optimisation for mobile devices, to support the business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering core modules within the existing MVC based Intranet
Developing and adding to system specifications
Developing the back and front-end code
Testing and deployment of code
Supporting existing system during migration period
Connecting to and using external APIs
Design and code superior technical solutions
Contributing to documentation of processes and technical setup
Skills Required (Essential)
Demonstrable experience over multiple projects in the following areas:
HTML/CSS
JavaScript / JQuery
Responsive design patterns
Bootstrap
C# / ASP.NET
MVC
Entity Framework
MS SQL Server 2012 onwards
Unit Testing (using both custom and Microsoft unit testing)
Desirable Skills (Not Essential)
Angular or AngularJS
SOAP/Rest Web services (design and implementation)
Experience with planning tools, JIRA/Confluence preferred
Experience with continuous integration
Contract Details
Location: UK Wide - This role will be a working from home role, with some requirement to visit offices around the UK.
Day Rate: Negotiable
Start Date: ASAP
Length: 3 months
