Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor North West & West Midlands £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) + benefits  My client would consider offering a higher package for the right individual depending on business development skills, including bringing over potential clients and business PERMANENT A Quantity Surveyor is required to join an organisation specialising in a variety of construction projects, more specifically commercial, housing, healthcare, residential, and multiple education projects. They are a successful developer looking for a senior quantity surveyor to run multiple live projects whilst occasionally mentor junior members of the team. The role is as follows: - Managing multiple projects liaising with clients and project managers- Be able to work on multi-million-pound residential projects with over 1000 units- Overall cost management of up to 4 live projects worth £20million- Work as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in charge of a team of surveyors- At least 4 years in house building- Manage tender from start to finish- Occasional site visits, be able to work effectively alongside the Commercial Director- Negotiate on procurement pre- and post-contract- General quantity surveying duties- Generate business for the North West, potentially bringing clients over They are ideally looking for someone with the following background: - Main Contracting or Developer background- Strong contractual knowledge- Ideally extensive experience in Residential, or recent experience- BSc Quantity Surveying- MRICS or RICS chartership is ideal- Experience liaising with clients, networking- Excellent understanding of QS software, COINS would be advantageous but is not essential Salary is negotiable for the right individual. Interview slots are available on Tuesday 29^th May, Wednesday 30^th May and Thursday morning Please call Chloe Jones at the X4 Group on 0202 3887 6313 or 020 7812 7700 for more information, email [email protected] and to apply to the position online.
