Solution Architect

We are actively looking to secure a Solution Architect to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Position Description

The Role

Our client has a history of growth through mergers and acquisitions and therefore has legacy systems that require decommissioning. Therefore, they require two skilled Solution Architects to assist with infrastructure architecture for cost optimisation activities.

The Strategy and Architecture Team have decades of experience across several industries. The team are responsible for ensuring that all application and infrastructure architecture:

* Provides value for money

* Focuses on our customer

* Delivers business value through efficiency

* Provides business continuity

* Is secure

* Conforms to design patterns

Skills & Experience

You Must possess:

* Ability to take high level requirements, propose solution architecture options and lead architectural solution through to structuring and build

* Broad knowledge of different technical stacks such as Oracle & JBoss etc

* Extensive practical experience of IT technical solution design and development / enhancement within a similar role

* Experience balancing the need-for-speed against strategic architectural considerations and understanding the risks and benefits associated with this

* Knowledge of application and security implications for change requests

Ideally you will also possess:

* TOGAF certification
