A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work with one of the UK’s leading charities and make a significant contribution to helping save lives at sea.

Our client is in the midst of fast paced, transformational change that allows them to save more lives at sea in new and creative ways. They are embarking on a wide range of business and IT led projects to improve the quality of their services for supporters, volunteers and staff.

This new and exciting Business Analyst position will be a varied role working across the charity at all levels, gathering and analysing functional and non-functional requirements which will be used to help define the scope and deliverables of IT and business projects.

As an experienced Business Analyst, you will use your skills to support project stakeholders and teams to influence, develop and deliver change within the organisation and its IT systems. Working as part of a project led culture, underpinned by your excellent knowledge of core business processes and functions, you will own the development and assurance of the Statement of Requirements for business and IT led projects.

To be considered, you’ll need:

- Extensive business analysis experience

- Proven experience of business and technical requirements analysis, verification and methodology development, as well as business process improvement

- Experience of overseeing the design, development and implementation of IT and business solutions, systems and/or business products

- A business analysis qualification

Ideally, you will have a degree level qualification, but this is not essential.

The closing date for applications is the 3rd June 2018, with interviews scheduled to be held on the week commencing the 11th June 2018.

Our client’s staff and volunteers have been saving lives at sea without prejudice for nearly 200 years. They respect and value diversity of background, skills and perspectives within their teams, and consider it essential to help deliver a world-class lifesaving service. They are an inclusive organisation and welcome applications from everyone. In addition to having the skills needed for the role, they also look for applicants who share their commitment to living their values (trustworthy, courageous, selfless, and dependable), and helping them work towards their goals of halving drowning in the UK and Ireland by 2024. This involves a growing commitment to preventative action, using expertise to work in partnership with communities locally, nationally and internationally to prevent drowning.
