Location - Midlands commutable from Birmingham, Warwick, Coventry, Stratford upon Avon

£29,000 - £39,000 + Pension, 42 days holiday

Are you an experienced Health and Safety Officer looking for a fully autonomous role in a company that is undergoing heavy expansion?

On offer is the chance to work in a market leading company, having full autonomy of their state of the art Research and Development and Manufacturing facilities.

You will need to be a pragmatic individual who is a good communicator as you will need to support staff, academics and partners whilst coaching them to ensure they follow all Health and Safety procedures in a way that they can then identify, manage and record the risks connected to their work in written (or in data capture) format.

This is a well-established company that carry out high profile collaborations across a range of industries such as automotive, aerospace and defence. With recent new investment they are looking to expand their current facilities to become one of Europe's best.

This role would suit an experienced Health and Safety Officer with a background in an engineering R&D or a manufacturing facility, you will be carrying out inspections, creating risk assessments amongst other tasks.

The Role:

* Engaging with and coaching academics, students and industrial partners

* Carrying out risk assessments, inspections and audits

* Managing Health and safety in state of the art R&D/Manufacturing facilities

The person:

* Health and Safety advisor

* NEBOSH Diploma

* Manufacturing/R&D Background
