Customer Support Engineer - Electrical

Chester, Cheshire

Our client is an established company that provides high quality products and services to power networks across the globe. They are now looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join their passionate team.

Based in Cheshire and employee-owned, our client offers a relaxed and team-oriented environment where staff are supported to challenge themselves and develop their abilities.

You’ll have the chance to represent ground-breaking solutions that are helping customers to manage their electricity networks more efficiently, with fewer failures and outages, greater safety and lower costs.

As a Customer Support Engineer, you’ll help to maximise sales of our client’s engineering services.

In this key role, you will:

- Work with an international customer base

- Gain a strong understanding of customers’ challenges and objectives

- Advise customers on the best solution to meet their needs

- Write and submit proposals, quotes, PQQs and RFQs

- Update the CRM system

To be considered, you’ll need:

- Experience in the electricity industry

- A track record of dealing with multinational and international companies

- At a minimum, an HNC qualification in electrical engineering or a related discipline

As a Customer Support Engineer, you will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and commercially aware. Strong communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to work on your own initiative are also key.
