Role: Graduate Consultant - Central London

Their trainee consultants can specialise in either technical consultancy or accountancy.

As such, they are ideally looking for ambitious graduates from the science, engineering, software and economics backgrounds.

The Candidate:

They have vacancies for graduates in their technical and costing consultancy teams, essential qualities for both roles are:

- You have a degree (min. Bachelors, 2:2) in the fields of Science, Software, Engineering or Economics/Accountancy

- Experience of deadline driven project work

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Professional manner and attitude

- Curiosity, awareness, and interest in the fields of science, technology, and innovation

- Demonstrable experience of teamwork and individual initiative

- Willingness to travel within the UK

Additional desirable qualities:

- Good general office skills

- Preparedness to work extra hours when the job demands

- Any work experience in an industrial or financial role would be advantageous

The Role

You will have the opportunity to work with their technical and financial team as part of your graduate training, which will last approximately 1 year. Your duties as a Graduate Consultant will include:

- Reviewing technical projects undertaken by clients and identifying activities within the projects that may qualify as R&D based on stringent criteria

- Working with their financial team to optimise claim values for their clients

- Liaising with internal technical leads and other project consultants during the preparation and submission of reports to HMRC

- Attending and documenting meetings and interviews in written format

- Continuously developing your own knowledge and skills and to keep technical knowledge up to date

The Package

- Circa £30k P/A (dependant on experience, inclusive of bonuses)
