Storage Specialist - Manchester/Preston - 6 Month Contract

My client, a leading outsourcing and technology company are looking for a Storage Specialist for a 6 month initial engagement to be based in Manchester. The role will involve some travel to a Public Sector client site in Preston and can offer from £380-£430 per day.

Role Information:

* Migrating data between heterogeneous storage arrays using Data Migration appliances (Vicom)

* Configuring VICOM devices to Brocade and Cisco SAN fabric and HP/EMC/3PAR SAN storage devices.

* Zoning and presenting SAN LUN to migration appliances for replicating to destination SAN

Required Skills:

* Candidates should experience of large site data migrations to remote data centres.

* The client is also looking for candidates who have experience of Vicom DMA Pilot Migration tool, Cisco DCMN for FC and zoning SSMC

* Prior experience of working within the Public Sector would be beneficial.

* Candidates should be eligible and willing to undergo a Security Clearance process.
