Software / Embedded / QA test engineer - Contract

A key client of Progressive's are currently looking for a QA Test engineer for a 6 month contract position.

* Close to Edinburgh

* Electronic device

* Software / firmware testing

Requirements:

* Background in Electronic/Software Engineering

* Min 5 years' experience working on product development project teams

Role:

* Generation of functional/ design verification test specifications for software and firmware components

* Execution of manual Software and Firmware tests

* Work as part of a Scrum team to deliver fully tested new functionality and bug fixes

* To analyse and evaluate test results and write reports

* Support hardware and software design engineers

* Logging defects according to company procedures
