I am looking for a L3 Network Engineer for a 3 month contract to be based in London working for a large client of mine.

This role is paying a max of £369 per day and is to start ASAP!

Key Tasks;

Specifically designing and deploying Palo Alto Networks (Proven experience must be show in this area)

Creating/modifying device configurations across Cisco switching and routing products. * Creating/modifying firewall configurations across Cisco switching and routing products

* Working knowledge of dynamic routing protocols including best practice configuration

* Excellent troubleshooting skills, with prior experience working as an escalation engineer with an operational background This role requires the following operational skills;

* Customer-facing with good documentation skills and strong communication skills at all levels

* Ability to consistently deliver to deadlines while prioritising competing demands for work

* Must be professional, hard-working and have an ability to pay attention for detail

* Have an understanding of ITIL processes and structured ways of working

Your technology skills will include;

* Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls (Highly desirable)

* Cisco ASA, FirePOWER

* Cisco catalyst & Nexus switching

* Cisco routing and switching

* Cisco & MerakiWi-Fi

* Any exposure to SIEM would be good as well.
