Role: QA Automation Engineer

Location: South Dublin

This is a brilliant opportunity for a QA Automation Engineer to join a well-established Irish company within the Healthcare industry. My client, based in Dublin South, is seeking one Senior and 1 Mid level QA Automation Engineer. This is a very exciting company who are a world leading software company with massive worldwide growth in Europe, US, Australia and the Middle East. With 1,000s of end user devices globally, this is a great opportunity for a QA Automation Engineer to join a rapidly growing team to shape their automation framework.

The Role/ Duties:

* Develop and execute test automation scripts with the goal of shortening the software development life-cycle and increasing test coverage by automating regression testing.

* In conjunction with the Test Architect, contribute to the creation and expansion of an automation framework utilising a standard set of tools across our product set.

* As a member of an agile scrum team, contribute to sprint planning within your team by working with functional testers and the Product Owner to agree test automation priorities, estimate and deliver fully tested scripts within agreed time lines.

* Integrate all automation scripts you create into our continuous build pipeline to ensure that we have automated test coverage and reporting visibility for every build.

* Where tests fail, investigate the root cause of the failure and raise defects where appropriate.

Skills/ Requirements:

* 3-5 years related experience in QA with a minimum of 2 years as an Automation Test Engineer using automated tools and frameworks such as: Selenium, Appium, Nunit/ Junit, TestNG.

* Mid-level to advanced coding skills using Java or C#.

* A proven track record of delivering UI test automation on one or more of the following platforms: iOS, Android or Windows, tablet, mobile or TV.

* Automating UI and API tests for environments being built using any of the following technologies: Xamarin, C#, .NET WebAPI, NServiceBus with Azure Service Bus, SQL Server, Azure Cloud, Distributed System / SOA / Microservices.

* Experience. Jira, Test Rail, Confluence or other similar.

* Experience working within a CI environment using tools like Jenkins, Octopus, VSTS with HyperV and Azure.

* Knowledge of BDD using Cucumber or Specflow a benefit.
