1-2 x ASP.NET Developer, 6 Months, Livingston, Rate Up to £325pd

1-2 x ASP.NET Developers needed for a 6 months contract based in Livingston for a new .NET Greenfield project with some Brownfield work needed to be completed as well

As the successful ASP.NET Developers to be based on site in Livingston you will be assisting a software house specialising in software systems for the retail, ecommerce and financial industries. The contract is an initial 6 months contract that is likely to extend.

This company are a fantastic business to join, not only are they growing due to winning some key new projects from global businesses around the globe, they also use the latest Microsoft technologies and welcome new ideas and techniques into the business.

As a key member of the project, you will be joining an established and successful team responsible for several public facing financial websites. It would be very beneficial if you have either financial, retail or ecommerce experience, as would public facing website experience be.

Your main responsibilities will be;

- Developing new financial systems in .NET Enhancing the clients intranet and external sites

- Adding new functionalities and features to a website that is viewed by a global audience

- The maintenance of the clients existing systems.

Your Essential Expertise will include;

- C#, ASP.NET application development

- - Front-end development coding in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript ideally Angular, Knockout or EmberJS

- Testing your coding through Unit Testing, any exposure to TDD or BDD would be especially advantageous

- Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum methodology (stand ups)
