Full Stack JAVA Developer

Location: Colchester

Salary: £50-£55k per year

Our client Ennovision are looking for a full stack JAVA developer to work on an online movie ticket aggregation platform.

The developer will work as a part of the onsite-offshore development team under the guidance of a solutions architect, based from client location.

What will be your responsibility?

- Design, code, test program and maintain the complex custom-build solutions based on Java technology and related frameworks;

- Participate in execution and documentation of tests necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets performance requirements;

- Assist in the integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements;

- Follow defined methodology and standards including preparation and maintenance of documentation for all stages of development work.

Skills and experience:

- Good knowledge of Java SWT/Swing GUI;

- Framework: Spring, Hibernate, Struts;

- Service Oriented Architecture: Service integration with Web Services, EJB 3.1, REST/SOAP, security integration with JPA2;

- Application server: JBOSS/Tomcat;

- Good knowledge of Ant and Maven, Huston/Jenkins and Sonar;

- Capability to develop highly scalable distributed systems;

- Frontend: JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, prototype, prime faces/rich faces, JSF;

- Experience with Oracle database platforms and SQL query optimization;

Hands-on Experience:

- Extensive Java experience (Java 7/8)

- Strong Spring experience (Spring Core, Cloud, Boot, MVC, Data, Security, Batch)

- Strong Frontend Skills: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

- Good to have experience using React JS/AngularJS/Node JS

Essential Skills:

- Experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL

- NoSQL (MongoDB or Cassandra) databases

- Experience developing RESTful APIs

- Experience in AWS

- Experience working in an agile environment

- Configuring CI tools: Git, GitFlow, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, Jira TDD (JUnit, Mockito
