Data Scientist

Day rate: up to £700pd

Skills required: Expert in SQL, Java, Python, R or Scala and Hadoop, Spark and Hive/Impala

We are currently on the lookout for a Data Scientist for an initial 6 month contract within the Yorkshire area.

Technical skills required:

* Expert in SQL

* Python, R or Scala

* Hadoop, Spark and Hive/Impala

* Java

* Analytics, database design and predictive modelling

* Propensity modelling, classifiers and segmentation

* Experience working with big data

This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a forward thinking project team, where you'll have the chance to work with the latest technologies and be able to add your own input to the project. Previous exposure to large enterprise systems would be beneficial.
