Mechanical Engineer / Project / Medical / Development / V&DTo be based in Dublin Duration: 6 months contractKey Skills: Mechanical, Verification, Validation, SolidWorks, ProjectI have a brand new requirement for a Mechanical Project/Design Engineer to work in Ireland for my client who requires a contractor for an initial 6 months. My client specialises in the design and development of various medical device applications. They are also looking for an engineer who has experience with the full lifecycle of a medical device development.In particular, they are looking for individuals the following experience;- Solidworks                 - Experience in development of complex devices from concept through design verification- New Product Development (requirements, verification, and validation)- Strong Knowledge of moulded/plastic part design- Coordinate the development of test setups, protocols, results, and reports           - Experience with Medical Device Directive (MDD), ISO 13485, FDA design controls or similar regulatory environment- Lead problem solving/root cause analysis activities- Risk management activities including FMEA's, to ensure robust and reliable designsContract length - 6 monthsStart date - ASAPMy client is looking to bring someone in as soon as possible so if you feel this role could be relevant to yourself, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
