We require a Project Manager for a leading organisation based North of Leeds to support the introduction of IT new services.
Day Rate:
Contract Duration: 6 Months
We require a Project Manager to deliver a project with a significant element of IT business change.
You will have extensive stakeholder management skills as a project manager with the ability to support the programme team with successful planning and delivery of multiple projects in the programme portfolio.
You have the ability to manage technical resources to meet standards and deadlines for projects as well as working effectively with 3rd party vendors to ensure consistency and delivery.
You will have the ability to balance multiple projects and have a background of project management from inception to close.
You will have a background in working with technical resources, architects and other project teams.
Technical
*A project management background of delivering complex business solutions that are a combination of IT hardware and software deployments, system integration, and business change.
*A background in implementing software solutions, including experience in the complete development life-cycle through to implementation & arranging support in a live environment.
*Up-to date background of software engineering tools and techniques, application system development, including working with packages.
Project leadership and delivery
*A project management and leadership background of technology-related projects.
*A background of managing projects that involve many key stakeholders.
*Vendor / 3rd party management
*Proactive in resolving multi-faceted problems that are a combination of technical and non-technical issues.
*Familiarity with both Project Management (e.g. PRINCE2) and Service Management (e.g. ITIL) concepts.
