How we work:

We work in an Agile Scrum environment adopting Continuous Integration and Delivery techniques throughout the delivery lifecycle. We are an ambassador on engineering best practices - advising Clients and our people on coding standards, Scrum, code refactoring, code performance, continuous integration and testing.

We have a wider tech community of Software Engineers who are passionate about learning, sharing knowledge and working in a collaborative environment. A team that is focused on innovation and championing best software practices and Agile ways of working.

The Tech

-Work on large-scale, multiple industries, eCommerce and enterprise-level software development projects using languages and technologies such as Java, SpringBoot, JavaScript, Node, React, AWS, MySQL, MongoDB, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and more

-Champion software quality and technical vision for AND and our clients

-Champion TDD/BDD Software development

-Facilitate problem solving and work as a team to make them a reality

-Work in a collaborative environment where your ideas and opinions are valued and respected

-Work with Junior and Mid Developers in your team and assist with their mentoring and career development plans

-Be responsible for your own career development - with many different paths to choose at AND you will have the full support of the wider management team to progress your career at your own pace

Your role

This role will sit within Club Dekker (https://and.digital/about/people/club-dekker/) - our second ever Club at AND Digital!

You could be working on any of the following projects:

-Large Bank - 100% greenfield Java, iOS, Android

-Publishing company - 30% greenfield React and Node JS / 20% integration / 30% legacy with React and Node JS / 10% ways of working

-Telecommunications business - 80% legacy Angular .Net PhP / 20% changing ways of working

-High street retailer - 50% legacy integration 20% changing ways of working 40% new tech stack React front end

-Large wholesalers - 50% legacy (will need to confirm) / 30% greenfield React Java / 20% ways of working

-British based Residential Property Business - 80% greenfield React with some Node JS / 20% ways of working
